Certification/Awards/History
In 1902, Master Confectioner Tiziano Golfetti was inspired by the ancient and bustling atmosphere of “Porta Bosari” (Borsari Gate) that existed during the reign of the Roman Emperor Claudius. At this gate, vendors, merchants, craft artisans, wandering visitors and peasants traded wheat, fruits and honey with millers, bakers and confectioners who converted them into fine bread and sweet pancakes. He transferred the same enthusiasm he felt into making high-quality soft pandoro and delightful panettone. More than 100 years have passed, and the Family Muzzi has kept the tradition of producing high-quality pandoro and panettone following recipes passed down from Master Confectioner Tiziano Golfetti. The Borsari brand stands for exceptional quality, achieved through the non-stop pursuit of perfection.
